Last week, we participated in the EcoReps’ 2013 GreenFest for Columbia University Earth Week. EIC Amanda Tien and Features Writer Amelia Moulis handed out home-made granola bars (keeping with the “earthy” theme) by our friends in the Culinary Society. We talked to students about our new publication, our favorite restaurants, and organic/healthy/all-the-good-things food. We were quite charming. Additionally, we had a great time befriending our table-mates! FeelGood (grilled cheese-yum!) and TASA (Taiwanese American Student Association–free tea!) were a lot of fun to spend the evening with.
In case you missed us, you can catch Culinarian at the IPA Reading Fair this upcoming Sunday (May 5). The IPA Fair will be held from 8:30pm to 10:30pm in Rennert Hall in the Kraft Center (606 West 115th Street). IPA stands for the InterPublications Alliance, a group on campus that helps connect different student publications on campus to share resources and information. Come meet the executive board of Culinarian and grab some free Chipotle in honor of Cinco de Mayo! And, if nothing else, come for the pretty poster (which was designed by EIC Amanda Tien).
